Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems Operations

Introduction

The HVAC team is committed to creating and maintaining a comfortable work environment with the same commitment to reducing utility consumption and cost. To achieve these goals, the HVAC team working through Building Automation Systems, ensures reliable operations of all Central Plant equipment and systems responsible for the production of chilled and hot water for building cooling and heating needs. Temperature set-points have been established at an acceptable standard. All areas have a cooling setpoint of 75 degrees and a heating setpoint of 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

All HVAC problems are addressed by the HVAC team, including rooms being too hot or too cold. Additionally, the HVAC team services fume hoods and exhaust fans.
