Yes, you can submit an application before taking the SAT or ACT. However, be aware that a decision will not be made until all required items are submitted. Additionally, please remember not to wait until the last minute to take the SAT or ACT.

Freshman Admission Deadlines

You can check the status of your application by logging into E-Services using your UHCL ID number.

Dual credit will be evaluated once the official transcript from a community college or university is received. AP and CLEP credit are recognized by UHCL. A minimum score of 3 or higher is required on AP exams for college credit. Some courses also require a higher score.

On-campus housing is available for students in Hunter Residence Hall.

Apartment style housing is available at Hawk's Landing at University Forest Apartments.
