Educause

EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association and worldwide community of IT technology for higher education. EDUCAUSE provides articles and showcases, hosts conferences and events, and offers training and a hub to connect with other institutions and colleagues. UHCL is a member of EDUCAUSE. As an UHCL faculty/staff, you can sign up as a subscribed member and benefit by:

• Getting informed about up-to-date IT technology and trends
• Obtaining cutting-edge data, analysis, toolkits, and publications
• Sharing experiences, making connections, and building networks
• Advancing your knowledge and career
• Making wise decisions  

To Sign UP

1. Go to EDUCAUSE at https://www.educause.edu/
2. Click "Become a Member" on top right
   
3. Click "Use Membership"
   
   
4. Scroll down and click "Create (or update) your EDUCAUSE Profile"
   
5. Type your uhcl email, e.g., xxxx@uhcl.edu, and press "Search"
   
6. Fill up "New User Creation"
   Note: Under "Organization", type "University of Houston-Clear Lake" (No space between Houston and Clear Lake). The drop-down will prompt you to the text "University of Houston-Clear Lake" and select it.
   
7.   Submit

To Login

Once you become a member, you can sign in via your UHCL credential:

1. Click Login on the top right of Educause
2. Under "Enter Identity Provider Name," type "University of Houston – Clear Lake", and select it.
   
3. You will be prompted to log in to the UHCL quicklaunch login. If you are successful, you will be directed to the EDUCUSE website
