Centers and Institutes
The University of Houston-Clear Lake houses multiple centers and institutes, which
are organizations that engage in scholarly activities (e.g., education, intellectual
advancement, and/or research) that support and enhance the academic, research, and
service mission of the University. Through the university’s centers and institutes, our student’s educational experiences are enhanced and, sometimes, interlaced with the needs of
the community.
All four of UHCL’s colleges offer opportunities across many disciplines to gain hands-on knowledge of different approaches to understanding and correcting current issues. We encourage students to take advantage of these resources and partnerships, research projects, training and seminars.
