The Leadership Workshop Series is designed to give UHCL students a chance to explore, engage and delve into different concepts of leadership in an interactive series of workshops. Each semester, you can choose from a variety of workshops to grow as an individual leader or to gain skills to cultivate growth your student organizations.
Fall 2023 Leadership Workshop Offerings
Recruiting & Retaining Members for your Student Orgs
Thursday, Aug. 31 | 11 a.m. - Noon
Location: Bayou Building, 1437 or Virtual via Zoom
Presented by: Dillon Nash, Assistant Director of the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership
In this session, students will learn different recruitment and retention strategies to support their student organizations. Through engaging reflection activities, students will be able to brainstorm different ways to recruit and retain students into their organizations.
Leadership & Emotional Intelligence

Authentic Leadership: Becoming a Positive Change Agent

When Conflict Approaches: A Simple Path to Conflict Resolution

Managing Your Finances Like a Pro

You may have heard of it, or not, but what really is mindfulness? In this workshop, we will discuss the basics of mindfulness and consider how to apply it in our lives.
