Department of Health, Human, and Biomedical Sciences

The Department of Health, Human, and Biomedical Sciences (HHBS) offers a diverse array of degree programs focused on advancing the health and well-being of individuals and our community.  Faculty in HHBS prepare students for a career helping others as graduates attend to the physical health or social-emotional wellness of individuals, families, and communities.  Curriculum in all HHBS Degree Programs, undergraduate and graduate, emphasizes evidence-based prevention and intervention techniques that are used to promote optimal quality of life and health for others. Faculty mentor students in and outside of the classroom as they develop a knowledge-base and gain the practical experience necessary to be a leader in their field and make impactful change.
