ANRA: Clean Rivers Program Coordinator
Angelina & Neches River Authority is seeking a motivated individual to join their team in the role of Clean Rivers Program Coordinator. This position combines science, the outdoors, and a strong interest in preserving the natural environment. The program coordinator is responsible for managing the activities of the River Authority’s Clean Rivers Program, including environmental monitoring of rivers, lakes, and streams, data analyses, evaluation, and reporting, and assisting with organization of events to promote environmental awareness such as volunteer stream cleanups, the annual Neches River Rendezvous, and public meetings related to surface water quality in the Neches River Basin.

ExtremeTerrain Student Scholarships

NASA DEVELOP National Program
Ten-week paid research opportunities open to current students and recent college graduates as well as transitioning/early career professionals. This is a great opportunity for participants who are interested in practical applications of remote sensing and GIS, specifically in the field of Earth Science. Participants will work with NASA scientists, partner organizations, and science advisors to learn about the use of NASA Earth science data for use in water resources, disaster management, ecological conservation, and other applications to address environmental community concerns.

NOAA Sea Grant: John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship
This fellowship offers a unique educational experience to graduate and professional students who have an interest in ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes resources and in the national policy decisions affecting those resources. The program matches the students with hosts in the legislative or executive branch of the federal government for a one-year, paid fellowship (13-month award term) in the Washington, D.C. area.
