Nicole Morris

Nicole Morris graduated from University of Houston-Clear Lake with a master's degree in environmental science with an emphasis on fisheries in December 2016. Morris's thesis project, Mercury Monitoring in Texas Estuaries: A Concurrent Study with the National Coastal Condition Assessment, stemmed from EIH's work on the EPA's coastal condition assessment over the summer of 2015. Her project specifically involved monitoring levels of mercury in Texas bay fishes. While pursuing her degree at UHCL, Morris worked as a research assistant at EIH from September 2014 to December 2016. She is currently working for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality as an investigator in the Houston metro area.
