Free: Code Academy Application Required
Additional Requirements: A student-written essay must be included with this application. The essay should not exceed 250 words. In your essay tell the selection committee why you are interested in attending the 2025 Soaring Hawks Code Academy at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Include in your essay what you hope to gain from this experience, how you think it will help you in the future, and why you think you should be selected to attend this camp. There will be a space in the application to type the essay directly or copy and paste from another location.

Explore STEM: Students With Disabilities Ages 14-22
The Texas Workforce Commission Vocational Rehabilitation Division (TWC-VRD) is supporting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) camps designed to provide students with disabilities (ages 14-22) the opportunity to learn about STEM occupations through instruction, hands-on activities, and interaction with individuals who work in STEM fields.
- Free for students registered with TWC-VRD. Contact your TWC Counselor for a referral to attend the camp. Once we receive the
referral, we will register the student for the camp. Learn more about how to register with TWC-VRD.
- $180 for individuals not interested in registering with TWC-VRD. Self-pay through the UHCL e-Commerce.

- June 23-27: Music and Sound
- July 7-11: Intro. to Coding and Video Game Design
Required Forms for All Students
All campers must have three completed forms on file to participate in KidsU. Please complete the forms before the first day of camp.
