UHCL Employer Policies

Our office follows the guidelines set by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

Employers must adhere to the following policies to maintain their access to student and alumni candidates:

  • Abide by EEO standards
  • Refrain from practices that improperly influence or affect job acceptances
  • Supply accurate information on their organizations and employment opportunities
  • Notify Career Services if there are any fees to students and/or alumni (only those employers and/or job opportunities without fees will be listed)

Employers wishing to establish a recruiting relationship with UHCL are encouraged to speak to the Employer Relations Coordinator. Employers with bona fide job listings are eligible to utilize office resources to source student and alumni applicants.

By registering your company or organization with us, you agree to accept and comply with the policies and procedures of the University of Houston-Clear Lake Career Services office regarding employer recruiting activities. We reserve the right to refuse service to any company or organization whose business we believe is of a nature that is not appropriate for the UHCL student body.
