Our mission is to educate and empower UHCL students through holistic career development practices that establish meaningful connections and opportunities through global outreach.

Center for Career Development staff can provide crucial guidance with integrating the skills and experience you acquire at UHCL into your pursuit of a fulfilling career. Additionally, we can help you understand how your interests, values, goals and strengths greatly impact your career decision-making process and career readiness.

If you would like to meet with your Career Coach, you can schedule an appointment by using the Navigate App. You are also welcome to visit us during drop-in hours and you will be assisted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Request a Classroom Visit

Faculty members can request a classroom presentation from one of our career coaches. Topics include writing effective cover letters and resumes, interviewing skills, and career assessments such as Focus II.

The Center for Career Development can also coordinate with alumni and industry professionals in order to facilitate a classroom visit. These visits can range from employer-led lectures to discussions on current industry trends and professional development tips.
