Our Hawk Job Shadow Program provides currently enrolled students an opportunity to shadow, observe, and explore potential career fields. This program is intended to support students in exploring their academic major and to provide early exposure to professional career pathways. These opportunities are designed to take place on-site with an employer for a brief duration—typically between 4 to 8 hours. Application opens July 7th.

Co-op Program

The UHCL Cooperative Education Program (Co-op) is a planned learning process that integrates classroom studies with supervised work experience. Co-op students are enrolled in a graded course, offered for credit, which requires them to work in a paid position related to their current field of study. This program is available to UHCL domestic and international (F-1) students.
