2024-2025 Season Announcement

The 2024-2025 Bayou Theater season is the first to be curated by our new Director of Theater and Cultural Arts, Stephen Davis. His vision for the new season is that it will provide a variety of programming to fit any taste or interest that may be present in the Bay Area Houston community — from children, to students, to families and anyone in between. 

We are so excited to present you with our new 2024-2025 season lineup! From Broadway singers to Norteño bands, our season has something for everyone. Join us for one or many of these great shows this season!

Nebraska Backward

Thursday, February 6, 2025 | 7:30 P.M.

Experience the universal coming-of age story of Nebraska Backward. Billed as a “one-person storytelling mixtape,” Nebraska Backward is a collection of interrelated stories of growing up on the Great Plains. Deftly performed by the writer himself, this award-winning show will appeal to adults of all ages.

Movie Party: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)

Thursday, February 20, 2025 | 7:30 P.M.

Join us for a special art market and movie party! Artists, crafters, and fans of all things nerdy are welcome! 

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) follows Miles Morales as he becomes the new Spider-Man and joins other Spider-People from various parallel universes who team up to save New York City from the film's main antagonist, the Kingpin. (This film is rated PG.)

A Motown Celebration with Chester Gregory

Wednesday, February 26, 2025 | 7:30 P.M.

Broadway extraordinaire and recording artist Chester Gregory captivates in a soulful tribute to the legends of Motown. Gregory starred on Broadway as Berry Gordy in Motown: The Musical and won acclaim nationwide for his outstanding portrayal of Jackie Wilson in The Jackie Wilson Story. In this dazzling concert, Gregory blends vintage influences with a modern energetic touch, sharing personal stories of meeting some of music's greatest legends. New York Times calls him "jaw dropping." Featuring a spectacular band, hit songs include "Higher and Higher," "Stand By Me," "I Feel Good," and "My Girl."

All tickets are non-refundable. Single tickets may be moved to another performance with a 24 hours notice. Please include your phone number so that we can confirm the exchange.
