School Library and Information Science M.S.
Promote Student Literacy. Inspire Students to Read.
School librarians create a vibrant culture of literacy by teaching critical skills
young people need to evaluate and manage information while using innovative technology
to share ideas. With a Master of Science in School Library and Information Science
from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, you'll become one of your school’s most
dynamic educators who will not only build on the traditional role of nurturing a love
for reading and developing high-quality collections to support the school curriculum,
you will also be well equipped to support students and teachers in using innovative
technologies to expand and enhance teaching and learning.
