Biography

Dr. Mukherji is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Houston–Clear Lake. She received her B.S. in Chemical and Biological Science from Japan Women's University, M.E. in Environmental Engineering from Old Dominion University, Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Iowa, and postdoctoral training in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Utah.

Research Projects

Her research is centered on resource recovery from waste, focusing on creating sustainable solutions that transform waste into valuable resources. Through her work, she seeks to increase awareness of environmental sustainability and inspire communities to better understand the urgent environmental challenges we face.
