Program Overview
University of Houston-Clear Lake's Computer Information Systems (CIS) Program offers a master's and bachelor's degree to accommodate students in different stages of their career journey. The program builds on a foundation of strong technical knowledge in computer science and emphasizes database systems, internet development, computer networking, internet security and software development. It also reinforces a broad understanding of other disciplines related to information systems and balances theoretical computer science knowledge with practical skills in developing and administering information systems.
