Student Services now Division of Student Affairs

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,
As of today, Student Services will be known as the Division of Student Affairs – a
distinction that better encompasses all of UHCL’s current and future student resources.
Moreover, it creates the framework around which we can foster a cohesive strategy
for all our student-facing services – from Health and Wellness to Housing, from the
Office of Dean of Students to the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
Interim Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Daniel M. Maxwell will build upon the
legacy of his predecessor, Dr. Darlene Biggers, who retired earlier this month. We
look forward to his leadership.
