Biography
Henda Y. Hsu is the program director of the Criminology and Criminal Justice program.
He is also an associate professor of criminology and criminal justice.
Dr. Hsu received his Ph.D. in criminal justice from the University at Albany, State
University of New York (SUNY), after serving as a law enforcement official in New
York. His research focuses on crime and terrorism prevention, with a particular focus
on unintended outcomes of crime and terrorism control. His other interests lie in
criminological theory, policing, and time-series analysis.
Some of his works have appeared in journals such as Criminology & Public Policy, Journal
of Experimental Criminology, Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency, Justice
Quarterly, and Terrorism and Political Violence.
