Jennifer Fritz, Ph.D.

Biography

Jennifer N. Fritz, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LBA-TX is a Professor in the Department of Clinical Health and Applied Sciences, where she teaches courses in behavior analysis and is coordinator of the undergraduate certificate program and minor in behavior analysis.

Dr. Fritz also serves as director of the Severe Behavior Disorders Research Clinic and the Intensive Outpatient Behavior Disorders Clinic at UHCL's Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities where graduate and undergraduate students learn valuable clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of behavior disorders.

In addition, she is the co-director of the Connecting the Dots caregiver training program. She also directs the Functional Analysis and Intervention Research Lab in which graduate students conduct and discuss research related to behavior disorders.

Dr. Fritz serves as founding President of the Texas Association for Behavior Analysis Severe Behavior Special Interest Group, as guest Associate Editor for the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, and as a member of UHCL’s IACUC and IRB. In the past, she has served as president of TxABA, advisory board member for the TxABA Public Policy Group, program chair of the Autism Track for the TxABA annual conference, program chair for the Professional Track of the TxABA annual conference and co-chair of the Autism Track for the Association for Behavior Analysis International.
