Biography
Kimberly D. Dodson earned her Ph.D. in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania
after spending 15 years as a Deputy Sheriff and Sexual Abuse Investigator for Greene
County Sheriff's Department in Greenville, Tennessee. She currently serves as the
chair of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS) Minorities and Women Section
and was named the ACJS Outstanding Mentor for 2014.
Dr. Dodson's research interests include correctional program evaluation and offenders
with special needs.
