Lauren Soliz is a research associate with the Environmental Institute of Houston (EIH) at University of Houston-Clear Lake. She earned her M.S. in wildlife, aquatic, and wildlands science and management with a specialization in aquatic ecology and her B.S. in natural resource management with a concentration in fisheries biology from Texas Tech University.

While at EIH, Lauren has served as a field crew leader for the National Streams and Rivers Assessment. Her research interests include biomechanics and environmental toxicology. In her free time, Lauren enjoys fishing, reading, barrel racing, and spending time with friends and family.
