Noah Santee is a research associate with the Environmental Institute of Houston at University of Houston-Clear Lake. He earned his M.S. in ecology and conservation biology and B.S. in wildlife and fisheries sciences from Texas A&M University. During his undergraduate studies, Noah worked on several studies on the movement of minnows in the southern Great Plains region of the state. He studied fish community behavioral and morphological traits and their relationships to the riverscape and human alterations for his master’s degree. Noah is our resident fish taxonomist and will lead a small team for our National Rivers and Streams Assessment project. He enjoys exploring new coffee shops, adventuring to local streams, Stardew Valley, and being a cat dad in his spare time.
