Sherah McDaniel is a research associate with the Environmental Institute of Houston at University of Houston-Clear Lake. She earned her M.S. in environmental science with a focus in biology from UHCL and her B.S. in environmental science and biology at West Texas A&M University. McDaniel serves as the quality assurance officer as well as manages supplies for the Texas Clean Rivers Program at EIH. She also leads field operations for the Galveston Bay Dolphin Research Program. Her research interests include natural and anthropogenic impacts on ecological processes and the way animals behave in response to their environment. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring outdoors, yoga, collecting plants, finding good deals, and spending time with loved ones.
