Richard Dotter

Richard Dotter is the equipment coordinator for the Environmental Institute of Houston (EIH). Prior to this role, he dedicated over 17 years to the Office of Information Technology (OIT) at University of Houston-Clear Lake.

In his current position at EIH, Richard is responsible for the upkeep and management of a wide range of specialized equipment, vehicles, vessels, and other assets utilized by the institute's research staff and students. He is also working toward obtaining his Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) license to become a licensed captain.

Recreationally, Richard enjoys boating, fishing, and working on all things mechanical while his wife and dog keep him company.
