Tyler Swanson

Tyler Swanson graduated from UHCL with a master’s degree in environmental biology in May 2019. The findings from his thesis project, “Nekton Community Characterization of the Lower Brazos River with an Emphasis on Atlantic Croaker, Micropogonais undulatus, Trophic Dynamics,” demonstrate the strong linkage of freshwater inflow, downstream transport of carbon and nitrogen and estuarine productivity. While pursuing his degree, Swanson worked as a graduate research assistant at EIH.
