David Bontrager was a crew leader on the alligator snapping turtle study with the Environmental Institute of Houston’s research team in 2020. Bontrager came to EIH from Ohio, and has a B.A. in environmental science/ecology with a minor in Spanish from Goshen College. He is interested in herpetology and spatial ecology, and enjoys hiking, playing soccer, and reading in his free time.
