Biography

Dr. Williams joined the UHCL faculty in 2001 as an associate professor of finance and is currently the department chair for the Economics, Finance, Marketing and Decision Science Department. She obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2004 and currently teaches undergraduate corporate finance and structures of financial statements. Her research interests are agency theory, corporate governance, executive compensation, and fixed-income securities. She is a member of the Southwestern Finance Association, Southern Finance Association, Financial Management Association, and the CFA Society of Houston.
