Douglas Steel, Ph.D.

Biography

Dr. Steel is Associate Professor of Management Information Systems at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, his MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston. He teaches Business Computer Applications, Advanced Internet Applications, Systems Analysis and Design, and Graduate Internship in Management Information Systems. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of Project Management Institute (PMI), the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and is published in scholarly and professional journals such as The Data Base for Advances in Information Systems and the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research.
