Courses in the Project Management Certificate program provide effective schemes and practical tools that you can apply toward projects at work. For your convenience and to accommodate your work schedule, courses are available both online and face-to-face. You'll learn negotiation strategies, engineering management planning, professional project management approaches, and organizational analysis and management methods. These skills can be applied to virtually any career project, making you a more valuable candidate to employers in STEM fields.
Certificate Requirements
To earn the certificate, the four-course set below must be completed at UHCL within a four-year time limit with overall GPA of 3.0 (minimum C or above for each course). No transferred course will be accepted. A student pursuing the certificate may transfer the certificate courses to the EMGT degree plan after successful completion of the certificate and admission to the EMGT MS degree program.

New, non-degree seeking, and returning UHCL students applying after the deadlines above may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the appropriate graduate enrollment counselor for more information. A $50.00 Late Registration Fee or $50.00 Late Payment may apply.
