Learn to manage the world’s natural resources and take your environmental management education into the government, industry and nonprofit world. Learn about environmental law, permitting and air/waste/water management, while focusing on the intricacies of pollution control and environmental assessment.
Connecting input from top leaders in private industry, government and nonprofit organizations, the program shows students how to make educated business decisions and establish effective management strategies. The objective of the plan is to prepare students for positions involving the management of natural resources in a variety of public and private settings.

studies than the thriving Houston-Galveston area. Located near a diverse industry
base and multiple ports, UHCL can offer the hands-on learning experience you need
to succeed. Gain practical knowledge through community outreach projects, internships
and field research provided by the university’s Environmental Institute of Houston.
As a UHCL student, you will also have access to professional development through the
