Chelsey Hill

Chelsey Hill is a graduate research assistant with the Environmental Institute of Houston's research team. She earned her bachelor's degree in environmental science with a specialization in biology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL) and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in the same field at UHCL. After graduation, she hopes to work in natural resource management.
While at EIH, Chelsey is focusing on the "Tracking Perkinsus marinus (Dermo) Infection in Sun-Cured Oysters" project for her thesis and is also working on the "Sentinel Program to Track Perkinsus marinus in Oysters of Galveston Bay" project. In addition, she assists with the Texas Clean Rivers Program and other EIH projects. In her free time, Chelsey enjoys practicing aerial arts, spending time with her dog, Stella, traveling with friends, and exploring nature.
